Megan "Molly" Whitten achieved her B.F.A. Degree from Frostburg State University in western Maryland. Focusing in sculpture and ceramics, Molly excelled in working with metal and clay, and used found objects to create her artwork. After graduating, she lived in western Maryland for several years, passing the time and honing her skills, involving herself in various projects and creative endeavors. She helped her mentor, Doug Salmon, by participating in the Pennsylvania Guild of Arts Show, running the blacksmith shop at Spruce Forest Artisan Village, assisting and instructing a blacksmithing course at Touchstone Center for the Arts with Jody Best, as well as teaching an introduction to drawing course at Frostburg State University.

Molly decided that she needed to find a tribe of like-minded creative types to further assist in inspiring her creative process. The search led her to Austin, Texas, the place she now calls home. In Austin, Molly not only creates her art, but she also organizes and produces art shows and productions such as Art Outside and Haunted Forrest Halloween Trail and Fire Show. She came far and has come a long way to create much. She looks forward to the creative revolution! ¡Viva la Revolution!
